ThinPAK 5x6 Brings Smallest CoolMOS(tm) MOSFETs Ever into Adapters, Consumer Electronics and Lighting Applications
Chargers for mobile devices, Ultra High Definition TVs and LED lighting all have to meet numerous conflicting requirements. Consumers long for slim yet high performing products. Therefore, manufacturers demand compact, cool and cost efficient semiconductor solutions. These considerable space constraints can be resolved by reducing the size and weight of the components which occupy printed circuit board (PCB) area.
Infineon Extends Life Time of IHM-B Modules: High Power Semiconductors Now Last Up to 11 Times Longer
In the future it will be possible to use IGBT High Power Modules (IHM) from Infineon Technologies AG even longer. More robust construction and greatly improved thermal conductivity behavior increase the average life time in comparison to previous models by a factor of up to 11 under the same conditions of use.
New Infineon 32-bit Microcontroller Family XMC4000 for Industrial Applications Combines Powerful Application-optimized Peripherals and ARM(r) Cortex(tm)-M4 processor; Samples Available in March 2012
Infineon Technologies launches a new family of industrial 32-bit MCUs, targeted at such applications as motor drives, renewable energy systems and industrial automation. With about 200 MIPS typical performance at 120 MHz, the new MCUs sit between the company's families of 16-bit devices and high-end TriCore-based controllers used in automotive electronics.
