Turkish Air Force Buys Electronic Warfare Technology from Harris Corporation to Upgrade F-16s
As you know, electronic warfare (EW) has moved to the forefront of global military discussions recently. It is increasingly important for countries to defend their assets from a variety of threats in contested airspace. A contract recently awarded to Harris by the Turkish Air Force will aid in doing just that. The Turkish Air Force's F-16 fighter jets will add the Harris Advanced Integrated Defense Electronic Warfare Suite (AIDEWS) pod systems to their fighter's existing capabilities. This advancement will allow the Turkish Air Force to ultimately strengthen their protection from evolving EW threats, providing warfighter the ability to accomplish their missions abroad and return home safely. The full release of the contract is below. Should you have any questions or if you would like to set up an interview, I would be happy to help.
